Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur förskollärare använder sig av surfplattor och lärapplikationen Puppet Pals i förskolan. För att få svar på detta genomfördes fyra kvalitativa intervjuer med förskollärare i södra Sverige. Två filmer som respondenternas respektive barngrupper skapat i Puppet Pals har valts ut och analyserats. Det har även undersökts hur pedagogerna kopplar sitt arbete med Puppet Pals till förskolans läroplan, med andra ord; om de arbetar med paddagogik.Den teoretiska utgångspunkten har under hela studien varit det sociokulturella perspektivet, med nyckelord som samspel, interaktion och artefakt.Undersökning visar att lärarna med hjälp av surfplattan och applikationen Puppet Pals lyckas få med de fem bitar ur läroplanen som vi tolkar att förskolans läroplan bygger på; värdegrund, matematik, naturvetenskap, språkutveckling och dokumentation. Det som framkom studien var att förskollärarna som verkligen har ett brinnande intresse för surfplattan och lyckats tänka utanför ramarna i sitt användande av Puppet Pals har hittat ett mycket användbart och uppskattat pedagogiskt redskap för såväl värdegrund, matematik, naturvetenskap, språkutveckling och dokumentation..

Detta examensarbete har sitt fokus på förskolebarnens lek och dess olika former med handdockan. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur barnen intregerar med handdockan och hur de använder dem som medierande redskap. Undersökningen var utförd som en observationsstudie av barnen på en förskola i åldern 3-5 år.De resultat som framkommit pekar på att en handdockas närvaro i barnens lek kan te sig på skilda sätt. Barns möte med handdockan kan både inspirerea, utmana och försvåra leken. De lekformer som synliggjorts i denna studie visade att imitation och transformation stod i centrum.

The topic of this paper is puppets as an educational tool in preschool. The purpose of this paper is to examine the puppets potential as a tool for creating pleasurable learning in preschool. The method of collecting material for the essay has been qualitative research interviews with four informants. The prerequties for writing this essay has been good. There has been some literature on puppets and basis for my investigation, there have been informants with experience of puppets.

Today there are guidelines how hand hygiene should be followed, to prevent health- related infection. Good knowledge and education in hand hygiene and its consequences if it?s not followed is of great importance. Hand hygiene should be performed before and after the clean and the unclean work with patients and materials.

Background: Hand hygiene is the simplest and most fundamental means to prevent care related infections. It is of great importance that the guideline of hand hygiene is followed for the patient?s sake. Unfortunately, healthcare workers perform hand hygiene too seldom. If the patient comes down with a care related infection, the suffering will increase.

Hand raising is a common method in schools and a way for students to engage in the classrooms turn-allocation (Andersson & Haglund 2006, p 35), but not all benefit from it. According to Dylan Wiliam (2011) hand raising divides the students by putting the students that participate in hand raising at an advantage versus the students that do not. This study aims to examine hand raising as a phenomenon and the students and teachers thoughts about hand raising. ABSTRACTIntroduction: Preoperative hand disinfection aims to prevent surgical site infections. After the preparing hand wash, drying is performed using an aseptic technique. It?s important to dry hands thoroughly in order to achieve the full effect of the alcohol based hand disinfection. Due to the lack of a evidence-based guideline on this procedure, the hand drying techniques differ among operating theatre nurses, depending on which technique seen as the most appropriate.

Introduction: Good hand hygiene practice is the single most important measure to reduce the spread of bacteria and viruses in healthcare. For nurses, this has become more important as the spread of multidrug-resistant bacteria in hospitals is increasingObjective: To identify factors that are important for adherence to hand hygiene among health care workers with patient contact.Method: Systematic literature review. Original articles were searched in PubMed and Cinahl.Results: Factors of importance for compliance was profession, lack of time, knowledge/education, physical work environment, attitudes toward hand hygiene, and dry hands.Conclusion: More education, less workload and more visible placement of hand disinfectant containers are examples of actions that could lead to the improvement of staff hand hygiene and reduce the incidence of healthcare associated infections. Due to the fact that health care workers around the world have different training and approaches, the result of this study may be difficult to use. En studie i om handdockan kan stärka den matematiska förståelsen och hur pedagoger skulle kunna använda den som redskap. Geometriska former och rumsuppfattning har stor betydelse i barns verklighetsuppfattning och lärande i matematik. Vi valde att fokusera på en geometrisk form, rektangeln. Vårt arbetssätt har bestått av intervjuer, observationer och dokumentation av genomförandet. Studien genomfördes i två helt skilda förskolor men har gjorts på liknande sätt och med samma frågeställningar.
